Where we are

The Workshop is situated about 5 miles outside the city of Bath exactly on the Cotswold Way.  This is an Area or Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment - the views are spectacular all the way to the Welsh hills across the Severn flood plain.

The Workshop can accommodate up to 4 people and we can provide a cot for a baby. One dog is also welcome.

It has a porch for outdoor gear, an open plan living room and kitchen area, two bedrooms and a bathroom.

There is a tv and DVD player together with a selection of books and local guidebooks and maps.

Fast fibre broadband is available throughout.

Out front is a verandah with access through French windows and there is a courtyard at the side with a barbeque and outdoor seating.

If guests bring a dog, there is an outside tap and towels together with blankets to cover the sofas.  We ask that dogs do not lie on the beds (the linen is mostly light coloured!).

There is oil-fired central heating and a wood burning stove; a load of logs is provided.

The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge, induction hob and oven, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine. All the usual kitchen equipment is provided.

There is parking adjacent to The Workshop, extra cars on application.

An electric car charging point is available on request at a nominal cost. Please let us know if you wish to use it.

What you need to know

The Workshop is the first of a small number of residential buildings, along a track which is some distance from the main road. 

A private drive runs past The Workshop and cars go by, though not frequently.
